Julián González is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.  He is an expert in all areas of tax planning and compliance with high-net-worth individuals, mergers and acquisitions and IRS representation.

Julián is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration and a minor in International Business. He subsequently graduated from NOVA University with a Master’s degree in Accounting and becoming certified as a CPA in 2017.

Prior to founding UpFront CPA, he spent the last ten years in the real estate investment trust industry, managing and overseeing the full accounting cycle of multi-million dollar local and international, residential and commercial real estate investments. After so many years in the corporate field, Julián noticed the substantial need for certified and qualified Accountants in the areas of personal and business development, thus deciding to start UpFront CPA to help more than one client achieve success.

Karla Carderera is an accounting professional with more than 20 years of experience among Fortune 500 companies and non-profit companies.

Karla graduated from Barry University in Miami, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting.  She began her career with the renowned law firm Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue & McLain in Orlando.  Here she started as a Staff Accountant and eventually moved up to the position of Payroll Manager in which she became an expert in the payroll area.  After 5 years, Karla decided to look for new professional challenges and has served as a Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager for publicly traded companies such as Becton Dickinson, Rackspace and Lennar Homes.  In her 10 years in this sector, she became an expert in Financial Accounting, General Ledger and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  She has also worked for well-known non-profit companies such as the Central Florida Foundation and the YMCA of Central Florida, where she has gained extensive experience in the public sector.  

Karla also saw the need for experienced and qualified corporate accountants to apply their knowledge to small businesses.  The experience she acquired in both the public and private sectors is now applied to her clients.
